Campaign mode.

As we know, there will be a campaign mode that lasts the whole battle of Stalingrad, and that the commander can select how many reinforcements he wants to commit to a battle and whether he wants to defend or attack etc.

I would like to see a more complex version of this....

Units: I want to see the ability use different kinds of units, more elite units like gaurds with more capping power and morale, motorized units with halftracks, tanks, specialists etc. Some of them would be limited in number, and some would have disadvantages. If you used a unit too much you could deplete their men, morale, stamina, etc.

Material: If you overuse tanks, overuse artillery, or even if a unit uses excessive ammunition, you could start to run out of supplies, temporarily until more supplies are sent to the city.

Encirclement: If one side surrounds the other completelely, then the encircled side will start to lose reinforcments, material, and stamina fast, but at the same time will get a defensive boost, if this happens that side can send in units from outside the city in an attempt to liberate them.

I agree, and did you know when a soldier gets the sense that there is absolutely no retreat, like its not physically possible (example: D-Day) they fight harder because that is the only way to go. Master Sun demonstrated this. :D
And it would be cool to have a 'sandbox' mode so you continue to fight until one side has completely taken over and won the battle of Stalingrad, instead of having it as, play until the Germans start losing. Pretty much what I am saying is that you will start as Germans, and win the battle... but we all know that didn't happen, hence 'sandbox' mode. Or is this already in there?

I know, it was terrible, but it also happened to the Russians, at one point the Germans had 90% of the city, but the Russians were able to send in more reinforcements and break them free.
