  5. So real bloody screen
  6. Slow-motion scenes making some enemies easier to shoot
  7. Brainless enemies

Breaking news: CoD MW3 doesn't have any grenades.

Will be kinda intresting to see what more could they possibly come up with that age-old engine, for me blops pretty much milked the series dry in it's current format.

I want to see something new. I bet i wont.

Fixed it for you.

That being said, the weapon animations and 3D models for the weapons are actually pretty good in MW2. The only real impressive thing is how bug free the SP campaigns are.

Everything is just seems poorly done in the previous games. I will assume MW3 will be the same in this respect.

You know, I enjoy Call of Duty, to an extent. I think it's entertaining. Is it worth the money? No, but of course there are means of circumventing that if you really want to. And I actually don't mind that there have been six games in the series. We've seen North Africa, Stalingrad, Peleliu, the Battle of the Bulge, a little bit of the Cold War, and a modern nuclear scenario. But I think there comes a point, which has been aptly named "Modern Warfare 3", in which the line must be drawn. Call of Duty must be put to rest.

Actually:

Call of Duty
Call of Duty 2
Call of Duty 3
Call of duty 4
Call of Duty 5
Call of Duty 6
Call of Duty 7
Call of Duty: United Offensive
Call of Duty: Finest Hour
Call of Duty 2: Big Red One
Call of Duty: Roads to Victory
Call of Duty: Final Fronts
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized
Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies 1
Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies 2

But "only" 6 games and 1 expansion have been released for the PC. ;)

And so the money train continues!

As business savvy as Activision is, I'm truly surprised that they don't realize that by releasing a CoD EVERY SINGLE YEAR is bound to wear out consumers -- even casual gamers who don't mind shelling out $60 for the same game each year. Granted, that hasn't been the sales trend thus far, but this strategy will eventually come back to bite them.

I wonder what Activision's business strategy is for when CoD is finally milked for all that it is worth? What small innovative game studio will they grab up next to exploit?
