Still a Work in Progress but we hope to have fully working transport planes in the very near future. I have learned more about 3D modeling and Animation in the last 3 days than is probably healthy. Pretty damn cool. Though they are meant to be at 500-1000 feet not 100 feet lol. At that distance they are an American pancake delivery system rather than a paradrop aircraft.

edit: Just a thought, but will they be able to take damage like recon planes? That could be interesting even if it was very hard to shoot one down. Maybe Allies could lose a spawn point for a short time.

Lugnut has a good idea, actually this would be great to implement. I'd recommend it only be able to shot down by machine guns, maybe only static ones.

30 cal rounds aren't gonna down that aircraft any time soon though.

Unless you make it bulletproof, at that altitude, you'd be able to chew up the crew and I'd suspect damage the engines.

Pilot seats were generally bullet proof some bomber pilot seat undersides made to withstand 20mm cannon fire. Plane also has two engines even without them can stil glide.
