Buying Killing Floor, but DLC?

The dlc are just characters. The devs want to make sure that people without the dlc do not get any disadvantage.

Meaning maps and weapons etc are always available for all players. And just the skin of your own player (that you actually never see) is buyable with the dlc.

You can see them. And has been stated, we will never have DLC that will splinter the community. Weapons/maps anything important to gameplay will always be free.

When your playing all you will ever see of your character is his right and left forearms and hands. I do not count the zoom in after you beat the patty "playing" when you get a view of your guy.

I bought both of the DLCs as a sign of support for the game; $4 is a small price to pay for future DLCs for such a great game. TWI can't work for free, people.

lol i wish when i bought the game retail that i didn't get the fail biohazard guy that had the yellow biohazard suit and he had a hunch back instead i wanted dj skully and the other biohazard guy who had the green suit but at least i have 2 free characters

yeh, exactly THATS why i like TWI, because we get free stuff that affects the GAMEPLAY, we wanted it, we got it... same like the demo perk, ppl wanted it and now realised that its not as good as SS or zerker. So WHY are ppl complaining about the DLC's? if you want them, buy them! this isnt EA where you get massive advantages from buyin dlc's/microtransactions

I got the 2 characters retail as well, for my second copy of the game. My seven year old boy loves the game, when he doesn't die (and only on normal). Support Tripwire, they are what a gaming company should be.

Thats what I love about the game and Tripwire. And even tho the DLC are completely optional, people still seem to buy them. Not necessarily just for the new skins, but to support TWI.
