I'd much prefer bridges over the meatgrinder that is Apartments.

Bridges will wear you out after 1 game, but at least you will have lots of fun during those 45 minutes.
With apartments it is just constantly getting sniped or machine-gunned from every corner on that map. There's no room for creativity, and with 64 players it is just a mess.

Exactly! I think so too. One of the few maps really made for 64 players. Appartment is atrocious with 64 Players but i like it in Clan wars.
@jank
Thats what I Heard from Friends and Players in campaign. I dont agree either.

Myshkova River has an incredible potential for beeing frustrating.
The First Two points are retakable and the atacking commander cant call artillery if he doesnt get into the Enemy Lines. The tank Spawned at the other Spot though. Its a ****ing beginners trap in the beginning.

Lets not start the discussion.^^ From what I heard people dislike it for beeing unbalanced. It seems most players hate atacking there and atackers rarely win.

Pffft thats totally wrong. Mamayev is one of the most balanced maps. Its classic king of the hill layout - two teams fighting for the top. The outcome on this map is always determined by the players.

no offense, but if you want a 2 minute kind of deal, call of duty is that way>>>

Haha...next time I want see you in a campaign mode, where people vote it over and over....and how you change server - its starting there....still fun?

No defense, but maybe you play RO1 and join the Arad 24/7 server....
....we can speak in a week again if its still fun.... :rolleyes:

I don't think the problem is that Bridges is everywhere, but that good alternatives aren't. Most of the servers with high player count (the ones I was always on anyways) only have the stock RO2 maps (which really aren't all that good except for Mamayev) and the community contest ones, which are a lot better overall, but Bridges is still the best of them (is Myshkova one of those as well? That's about the only other map that comes close to Bridges in my opinion that you might see on a populated server's rotation).
And even if a server happens to run other maps, most people apparently don't know those maps and aren't gonna vote for them.

So the real solution I think would be to get more maps on the servers and make them have a random rotation instead of voting. Bridges running all the time is not the problem, just a symptom.

I have no problem finding servers with custom maps, the problem is in campaign mode where the players all vote for stock maps.
I don't mind bridges occasionally as it is well made(Although i hate D and E caps from either sides perspective), its just that as an hour long map you want to play it less on a campaign.
