If you decided to add a brick it would be an excellent idea, but not the way it has initially been expressed. You should be somewhat realistic in a survival game like this, so to say that a bag of 20-60 pick-up-able bricks weighs 2kgs is absurd.

Onto my point, implementing a 3 or 4 brick max at about 3kg is far more realistic and you don't need a stockpile because you can pick them back up. Low damage with a high stunning rate similar to the fireman's axe is a less OP and more realistic version in my eyes.

Though I like the creativeness of the idea, I do not want to see this in killing floor as I think it would give an unfair advantage to the berserker over every zed in the original implementation and in my version. I applaud the simplicity and creativity of the idea and hope to see more unique ideas like this one, but with less class breaking attributes. IMO berserker is one of the strongest perks already.

I'd rather see objects you can find laying around in maps that you can pick up and throw, that do damage based on the shape and weight of the objects, and the level and character class. Melee of course would do the most damage and throw the farthest, and second best would have to be demo's since they're so used to lobbing grenades... and I think demo's should throw grenades farther as they level up and so should melee characters btw.

A few objects I can think of are bricks (of course), cinder blocks, rocks, pieces of rubble and debris, stones, concrete chunks, etc. Of course this would be a tall order I'm afraid. :( And it doesn't really make sense to sell bricks at the trader when you can just look around for them and pick them up. It would be a lot more creative and make a lot more sense for mappers to just include these objects around maps so players can pick them up. You know like chunks of concrete, bricks, and cinder blocks found around destroyed and old crumbling buildings, loose cobble stones, rocks, and bricks found in debris around a crumbling wall or old road, random rocks found around outside in the out doors in the dirt and around dry creek beds... you get the idea.

You guys all need to play half life 2. Ive killed so many zombies with bricks in that game...

But yea you guys who're asking for things to pick up around the map to use as weapons might be wishing too much. The things that you're asking for sounds like a physics-complicated game, and thats Half Life, not KF.

If you are running low on bricks you should be able to sh*t bricks when a Fleshpound is chasing you to replenish your bricks.

That would actually fit with how funny this idea is, actually.

... How could that be coded in?

As looney as this sounds, I think it could work. Having some ideas now...

I like the idea of it being a melee weapon, but I would change the design and use. How I see it working is more like having a pair of FP hands that you can maul with! Or, if you want to keep the brick model, just have a brick tied to each hand, and use them like boxing gloves... (left click=left punch, right click=right punch).

- Alt-Fire would would be a FP head clap, or dual tied brick clap of some sort.
- Brick or FP Hands would be extremely heavy so you can only use your knife if you purchase this (15/15)
- Yes, your speed would go down, but with such a powerful melee weapon, the additional perk speed from beserker would help with the weight.
- Extremely Powerful, at a medium-fast attack, medium alt fire attack, and very expensive, even for beserker (1,375 pounds).
- Death animations would be limited to only head dismemberment. Animation of single strike head punch explosion, and alt-fire head clap explosion. All other body shots will equal a normal death fall.
- Melee attacks from FP hands, or brick hands towards an FP will not turn him red...

Lets stop here and see what you guys think so far...
