How about in the game but as a random pickup only?
And if you can re-pick up bricks, then 10 should be enough. They won't fly as far as crossbow bolts I guess.

Just a thought, would it be feasible for bricks to "bounce" off of enemies/terrain? I can see if you got a critical headshot that it would stick into the specimens brains and not go anywhere, but a little ricochet could go a long way towards giving this some crowd control capability.
Yeah...no. There's a difference between a mutator for it, and it becoming actual content.
And if we get bricks, It would be awesome to have a brick only mutator, or a map with like 100 bricks on the ground, so the sky would be filled with flug rubble.

I mean really?? 60 bricks?? are out of your ****ing mind? 60 would be like twice as heavy as the player (assuming they are heavy enough to deliver some proper skull shattering), let alone their volume. As for finding them in the ground: it could be done but it would be a small, nearly useless feature since weak specimens come in too great numbers, and let's be kinda realistic, if a .50 cal to face doesn't kill a fp, a brick should only tickle it.

Well I did suggest a Tomahawk, But a brick? F*** it, im in for it, Why not? This would actually make the game more popular, How hilarious it would be to watch a berserker slice things up with his melee weapon, dismembering specimens and watching parts fly about, only to turn around and smash a brick over some hairless monsters face?!
Even if you are not convinced of its humor, lets be a tad realistic here. A solider, that I would suggest in good peak physical condition, throwing a brick into somethings face. I can imagine that it would not be walking with a full set of teeth anymore. Sure its crude and somewhat anti-climatic in the game. But you can bet your *** people will play the game just because they can throw bricks.
Hell, Add an achievement in the game when you finish off the patriarch with bricks.

Hell yeah, they should put in an achievement that has you killing the patty with knives and with bricks.
What if they were pimped out bricks? Like, covered with pins held down with duct tape, then wrapped in barbed wire to perfection?
Being fair, if this zed invasion really did happen in real life, that's exactly how the London Scousers would get it sorted out.
