Today i played some rounds with a bolt rifle. I couldn`t believe that
i didn`t suck with it. From now i will play more with it.

anyone else having problems with mosin ironsites? It seems that whenever I enter ironsites coming right out of a sprint they aren't straight. It's happened multiple times and resulted in multiple deaths 
Luckily I'm a veteran rifleman so I have access to the mauser with both teams but I'd rather not have to do that...

For a while I played PPSH as I wanted a drum but gave up as I don't put in enough time...
Now I am back to my RO Roots... The Russian Mosin
Tho I miss the M44 of OSTfront.
I liked having variety...
But in all honesty, I think the best way to play the game is as a rifleman and to scavenge better weapons on the ground...

What do you mean better? Bolt action rifles ARE the best! You only need to know how to use them.
Since I've started using bolts I've enjoyed the game more, can't just run and gun, and so satisfying when you hit. Also, manual bolting!

Hey ! I know how to use my bolt and I admit the feeling of shooting down someone with the bolt is far superior...(specially a good bayo stab)
But I also love picking up an MP40 or an MKB... it's mostly something about shooting enemies with their own bullets...

I'm an expert with the K98, i got 4600 kills.............but i have never used a bolt action in my life,and the few times i tried them i got shot in the back..running away lol, no i'm strictly a treadhead, and prefer to have a few inches of cold steel between me and all you boltie experts, but that's not what my stats say.:IS2:

I never played as an assault class. when I need a smg I grab the mp40 that the poor german was carrying before receiving a bullet to the chest from my mosin nagant. (awesome sound effect btw, great satisfaction).
I want to know about the bolt rifle penetration. I can shot through thin interior walls but don't know if it can penetrate stronger walls.

Bolts are wonderful, especially because the bayonet gives you a good close combat option. Last night I was storming buildings with my bolt, bayonetting fritz. Some pistol guy spotted me and took a few shots, but I ducked around some pallets and stabbed him in the stomach.
I do prefer to take the AVT/SVT where I can, of course, because it lets me work at multiple ranges. Last night I was surprised by two shooters in a window and managed to pop them in the face before bleeding out. Wouldn't have been able to do it with a bolt-action.

Has anyone noticed that the bayonet may be a ranged weapon? I was running maybe three metres behind a German and decided I'd try to stick him, and it worked.
I'm using the bolt now as I've got the upgrades I wanted for the PPSH and MP40. But man it's hard trying to storm buildings and capture cap zones at close range. Have to full back to the pistol when entering buildings.
The bolt is the most satisfying gun to to kill with hands down.And it will force you to take careful aim many times if you using a auto you will just pull up and start firing.Many times I can get the drop on autos just by careful shot placement "knowing I just have 1 round".At range its the best gun to use even medium ranges even at close range with practice with hip shots and bayos it can be deadly.Not to mention the pleasure of hip shooting a smg guy at close quarters.
Haven't had alot of play time of late but,soon as I get my unlocks on elite and assault I will play bolt 98% of the time. Stupid unlocks !
