ive searched the forum but couldnt find anything usefull, so dont start on that.
this is, blurring is checked, but it doesnt work. instead of blurring, the screen just goes black and back to normal, same with bullets. i get annoyed with it and i want my blurring back, but checking or unchecking blurring doesnt change a thing.
apperantly also the blackening gives you an advantage or something so ive heard, and i want the maximum challenge cuz thats just more satisfying.
so, can anyone think what would be causing this? i dont think its something my computer couldnt handle  amd athlon asrock motherboard 2500+
x850, 1024 mb ram, so...
anyone?

ok, i ran on d3d instead of d3d9.0... i played on baksanvalley, getting the blur this time, but somehow far of edges fade horribly now
like, when i am at the ruins, i look left to the church objective, and the river in between. the river goes up into the terrain real jagged, and if an enemy were to lie there, i would have a great problem in seeing him, let alone hitting him..
once i turn d3d9.0 off again and use d3d, the difference between the river and the terrain is very clear again, but then i dont have the blur anymore
any ideas why this really jagged **** is going on when using d3d9.0?
to bad i dont have a screenshot to show you, ill make one if you dont know what i mean

Have you updated your drivers recently?

the drivers were updated when i bought my videocard, not to long ago, but ill go ahead and reinstall them and see if it works

EDIT: no, i got everything updated, still the same problem... the wall on baksanvalley in front of the church looks like its on the frozen river thanks to all the huge jaggies, its messing everything up, anything can hide there without me being able to see it :(

and another thing, with directx9.0 xfire ingame chat works, but with just directx, not the 9.0, xfire ingame chat doesnt work :S:? ?
