even so. I believe that tripwire just get more and more games. and this game just get older and older. and they will spend less time fixing this game because of it. so making it so simply as possible with make the chance of change bigger.

and that is what we want right. change?

and I don't see the problem if u say u can just use a nade launcher. why are you so against loosing some nades then? which is bugged anyways.

To tell you the truth,I ever had an idea of sellable grenades. Which means that the player can decide to forfeit carrying grenades and release the bottomed 1kg capacity.

You thought that change the medic's grenade into vials, but I think that this is the player's option. He can take both, or the grenade only,or the vial only,or none at all. Forcing the medic to use vials and other class grenades is kinda unfair.

This is a bit complicated theory though...

swap nades for vials

just like firebug. (level 3+)
swap nades for firenades.

is that so complicated? :O

Update

Ok, I have seen some good development but at the same time I'm seeing some ideas that are over complicating the original idea.

I have added 2 options for implementing the vial at the bottom of my original post. So, simply vote on your preferred option and we'll develop the idea from there. :)

Implementation:

Option 1:
The Blood Vial is implemented as a replacement of the grenade ONLY for the medic. In this case, the Blood Vial becomes a Medic exclusive tool.
Option 2:
The Blood Vial is implemented as a piece of equipment that can be bought from the trader in a similar way to the pipe bomb. In this case the vials are open to all perks. However, the Medic has an increased capacity with a discount.

Up there, in the trees...
It would be a nice idea, but If im 100% honest it would fail my day if I saw it in game.

Just think, you'd never have to worry again, just lob(thats throw) a vial, bam you just took away three fourths of the game, for the first 5 rounds all you'd need to worry about is if your glass gets empty.

I agree, it gets annoying when you survive 3 FPs, 6 Scrakes, 4 Sirens, 5 Husks and then get off'd by a single Crawler who was hiding in the air-vent, but isn't that what makes KF so beautiful?

For me, this idea is somewhat an idea of..."I can't really play the game, so I want someone to hold my hand and do it for me", sort of idea...just like the: "My handcannon being too weak is why I jumped into the wave of clots and died" ideas...

Skill is what people need to focus on getting, not aids  I mean aids as in help...

its a nade that confuze trash zeds to go away for a small amount of time. it's not like its merly better than a normal nade. cuz this nade dont kill. and dont distract the big fish.

so yeah you cant spam nade a fp and kill it on Normal if u swap the idea with nades. that kinda sucks :)

I'd stick option #2.

Also, rise the price of the vial to $200 off perk,or even higher. $100 for a vial just sucks. (Imagine that everyone carry one,and spams) Perked price can stick to $60 though.

I'd probably say have it affect only certain zeds for 3 reasons: -

1) to make it more interesting weapon to wield, where it will save you in some situations but not others.
2) to help keep it balanced, being able to distract anything at a given notice is a very powerful tool
3) to keep it canon with the story of killing floor (See spoiler)

EDIT: I see that you already said what I'm about to say, but I would add the bloat, and the unraged Scrake to the list :)

Spoiler!

The affected zeds will of course meat shield the other zeds, so its not like the vial is useless against the other zeds. And ofc they would also come in handy when stacking nades.

But aye cool idea :)

The vial doesn't work on scrake,FP,and Patty. Others can be attracted though.

So... kind of 'attracting' grenade? That would be one of the best ideas in a long time. Zeds should play feeding animation when they get onto it (like feasting on a player's corpse).

Also, it would be great tool to attract zeds to a lousy placed pipebomb, or to make them get in a way of raged fleshpound. Excellent!

And new Dignity for the Blood achievement.

Agree. and diffrent ways to kill zeds while under the blood effect.

kill 5 zed under blood effect while in zed time with Melee weapon (that one would prove to be a hard one 2 get)

It's an interesting idea, but you have to then ask yourself why the specimens are following the players instead of just gathering around the pools of blood that have been accumulated from injured players.

I think something that creates a 'fear spot' like a regular grenade does would be more fitting since the mechanic already exists:

YouTube - ‪Killing Floor - Fear‬‏

It'd give the medic a few seconds to heal the injured player and allow them to try to get out of the situation.

lol. just swap vials for granades for the medic. Click G to throw. having both granades and Vials for the medic, just makes the medic better for kiting purposes which is not team play. -.-
You can just make the rule of not being able to carry both vials and nades at the same time. And then choose which one you want at the trader.. that would allow to swap them between waves

Big big BIG bonus for the effort you put into your post. It's refreshing not just to see a new idea but a clearly formatted and thought out one. +1

As for your idea I like it. It's not game breaking and at the same time adds another element. heehee, pipebomb+vial=fun times.
