I can't believe I missed this thread. I believe Alex said Resident Evil and Silent Hill were the main inspirations for Killing Floor, but I have a strange feeling that zYnthetic was right...

I can deffinitely see that, especially Resident Evil. In fact, my favorite level of all time has to be RE1-Story. I've been wanting to play that on hard and suicidal, but there isn't a good server in the US that hosts that. We need more Mission servers that are above normal difficulty!

Brutal Doom is hilarious and fun, you're missing out if you choose not to play it. It also makes the game a bit more challenging.

Blood needs a proper sequel, but Monolith has been too busy cashing in on FEAR games.

And Soldier of Fortune 2 is still the most violent game I've ever played.

Monolith is pretty much dead. They had nothing to do with FEAR 3. They're not "cashing in" anything.

What a shame they're inactive, they made such AWESOME games.
