[Game] Blood Bowl $10 this weekend on Steam.

That's a damn good deal on a damn fine adaptation of GWS's classic Fantasy Football game "Blood Bowl."

If you like sports games with a twist, you should really check this out.

I really enjoy it, myself, and I'm not generally a "dice game" RPG kinda guy. The AI is pretty terrible, so find a league online and play against humans. It's much better that way. Expect to get slaughtered at first though as it is strategically pretty deep. But I found it is easy to get into and not overly complex.

Was going to get this (been waiting for it to be on sale for ages) but with the legendary edition (essentially Blood Bowl 2) out in a few months with more than double the teams, fixed bugs and new features etc I'm just going to wait for it instead.

Sure it was just going to be an standalone expansion, so you had to own BB to get the original 8 teams but they apparently dropped that idea and arn't supporting it at all.

Yeah, I just found out about the "Legendary edition" today. I think that's pure BS, but whatever. At $10 I'm not going to complain too much. (But seriously, way to **** over all the fans that were there supporting the game by making them buy it again.)
