Blanks?

Did they replace the bullets with blanks in this game. I had several incidents today where I'd be shooting at the person with my rifle, the person standing out in the open, my rifle rested and aimed at his chest, firing the whole time. I fired two whole clips at a guy with no results. Did I miss an update that was made to piss me off?

Some times high lag can cause something like that especially with MG. Though usually only momentarily, sounds strange that it lasted that long.

Yes I have noticed it too. However a few nights ago I was on the other end - Two guys simultaneously emptied clips into me at close range (Basovka trench I think) and I stayed alive. I almost felt embarrassed.

More like lag and servers with more slots that they can handle.

Also since the leaning was fixed there are some issues like this with shooting while prone. You see that your rifle is over the ground but somehow the bullets get caught in the ground/collision mesh in front of you.

Lag / hiccups / etc, as always.... Just kicks in too soon, while servers are not nearly overburdened

Keep in mind that it could also be spawn protection.
