Bf3 or ro2?

I'd wait a bit before investing in RO2. Things are slowly getting better, but the game can still be incredibly frustrating with all of the myriad of bugs and issues that remain.
Give it a few months at least, because I think that's how long it's going to take to iron out most of the bugs. That said, I don't have a ton of faith in the game's design problems being changed. Hopefully by then the SDK will have been out and people will start making mods to make this game actually play properly. The beauty is the game will likely go on sale at some point in coming months at some point.
So my advice would be to wait. This game has potential, but in my opinion, there are too many bugs and questionable design issues to recommend paying full price for it.
As for BF3, that's up to you. That game also looks like it's going to hardly be finished on launch, and there's tons of things I don't like with DRM, lack of mod tools, and basic stuff like a commo rose and VOIP missing from the game on launch. But that's up to you -- both games are pretty different in the way they play.
