By default, RO binds some of the more common tank orders to the keypad. It's a very good system, but there are some wasted keys, and a lot of unbound commands that would still require menu navigation to issue. If you are in a tank, don't have a headset, and have three T34's bearing down on you, that isn't so useful.

This isn't so much a post suggesting options for rebinding as one making people aware that it can be done, and is very effective (apart from the enforced delay between radio messages). This is my layout: it's got all of the common commands in largely logical locations.

Similar to what I have, although here is my total modified keyboard layout. The vehicle commands come in handy. I added a few others as well. Had to model my keys after COD after playing that game for 2 years. I also added all the voice commands at the bottom...

PS: Thanks TripWire for making the layout available in Powerpoint form. Made it easy to modify :D

My Logitech G15 profile. M1 is for infantry, M2 is for infantry commander, and M3 is for tanks and vehicles. With it set up this way, the only vehicle commands I have mapped to the numpad are "We're burning!" and "Get out!"

thanks, i always thought about remapping my voice commands as hunting through the menus system in a panic is always bad.

I really like your number pad layout, and combined with the arrow key layout... it can already see how effective it will be. Thanks!
