Beta test request: STATS and SOUND

We've just updated the RO2 Beta with test fixes for the stats issues and for the no-sound bug.

We want to get some volume testing on the stats fix - tested ok in small numbers in the office, but needs volume testing. If you still have the beta installed, it should update automatically. Please report any problems you find with the stats IN THIS THREAD. But please do watch the numbers carefully - we don't need lots of "I'm sure that wasn't right, but I can't remember"

The no-sound bug should also be fixed in there, but we want to check that out too.

I've just reinstaled beta. No servers, 16 people online. The beta (screwed) stats remained.

Edit: Also, could we get stat reset on beta because right now I still have all of my beta's screw up stats.

My stats have returned to normal (looking) levels. Honor level 18 instead of 81, but I still have incorrect class and weapon stats. Will do some rigorous testing once the servers are available.

Can't do anything when there are no servers. And the stats I am looking at are from beta when it got screwy during beta. I have about 800% accuracy with Scoped KAR98.

well, beta is running perfectly, yet there are NO servers. did you (TWI) forget to host one or are you depending on community beta servers?

hey tripwire, i need to reinstall the beta. it's no longer in my hard drive or available on steam. i'd love to be helping and can only imagine how many others are in my position, but my hands are tied if i can't get the beta back!

I have played a 70 hrs so far on RO2 (purchased on release) and would also like to participate in this. Currently I have no way of doing so, are you considering opening the beta up for people like me?

I'm also downloading the beta patch and it's reappeared in my game list.

Now we just wait for them to let us know when the servers are going up

This was in the beta steam group announcements from today:

The server should go up tomorrow. I'll make an announcement when it is. We'll need people in there to stress test the changes. See the forums for more information.

So, we'll be able to test these fixes tomorrow I assume.

It appeared on the server browser though, so I am hoping you wont need the IP.

Edit: May have just caught a glimpse of it. It is no longer there and I cannot connect again. Ah well no worries. Should be up tomorrow.
