Beta on 23rd of August theory.

They said this week, they didn't say when, it could come out Sunday for all we know.
I mean, we get 2 weeks of Beta at the least, whats wrong with that?
Sure nice to see developers sh1tting in their fans faces, that's one cancelled preorder.
the fact that they said the beta was unaffected by the delay and that would mean it was which would mean they lied.
I know this comment came from a double account but if the beta release is indeed that late, the statement still stands.
Either that or you could call it misinformation/damage control.
Or maybe something unplanned has cropped up.
Maybe Alan was accidentally let out, so now they have to employ a team of well trained hunters to catch him.
Obviously somethings up, I say the Beta should be up tomorrow, if not, then something has definately gone wrong.
EDIT: Just read Ramms post, its not tomorrow.
Im confused...and a little bit annoyed, I am considering changing my preorder to Non-DE, Thursday seems a little late. Most betas last months, this beta? 5 days.

actually not. I cant fall asleep and I got bored so I made an account. I'm laying in bed, posting from my phone, od'ing on nyquil and waiting to fall asleep. that's what I get for trying to go to bed 6 hours early.

Actually did they tell us about it, there were a couple of gamebreaking bugs such as getting stuck at the spawn. They didn't want to disappoint people by shipping a beta that they could not fully enjoy.
They could put a watermark acros the middle of the screen saying "stop complaining it's a beta" for all i care. I just wanna play.
That is a really bad reason though.
Beta = Testing the game, reporting bugs, game still in development.
Demo = Final version of the game.
We were promised beta, not demo. Right now we're getting less and less days of beta everyday.

Apparently Ramm mentioned a bug that would stop the player from moving when they spawned.

Yes, we can. But they could AT LEAST have told us straight up "Look guys, we had to push the beta back" right now they saying its not out yet because they want to fix smaller bugs first. But since we were supposed to be in beta, that should be a part of it, bugs or not - would people whine? Yes, probably. But then at least tell us that it's a demo and not a beta.
There's been no words on wether or not the beta has been pushed back, only excuses as to why it's still in beta.
