So far I've enjoyed this game a lot and for the most part it seems they have everything down. However so far I only have 2 beefs with this game:

1) Squads - Being forced into squads and not being able to create your own is annoyingly frustrating when playing with friends. I know there's a limited number of kits, but couldn't they have worked this into the game in a different way such as how project reality does it? This part really makes it difficult to enjoy with groups of friends and wastes a lot of game time trying to all get into the same squad and figure out where each player is before progressing.

That and the squad menu is broken - not only does it scroll extremely slowly with the mouse wheel, it won't go down to the bottom so you only end up seeing half the squads in the game

2) Friendly tags - I don't know how many times I've killed somebody who was on the same team as me because of the lack of anything visual letting me know who my team-mates are. Up close a couloured name tag appears but from a far it seems like I have to check the map every 2 seconds to find out who is who.

Other than that I think this game is extremely well done and I look forward to getting the full version!

You need to learn to distunguish between the tan colour of the Russian uniforms and the field grey of the German uniforms. It may be harder at long ranges but that adds to the fun :p

Something quite obvious a lot of players seem to miss on territory mode: If you are at the far edge of the current territory facing towards the enemy spawn you are almost certainly not hostile.

Got teamkilled 3 times earlier on apartments when I was aiming towards where the allies emerge as axis :mad:

I feel the same way about the squad system. If only we could create extra rifle only squads so we do not unbalance the distribution. I'd be okay with that. I forgot how project reality did it. The squad system only adds the commo rose and attack markers, if your all on team speak you don't really need to be in the same squad, me and my buds never bothered. The squad system itself needs some reworking, the squads might as well not exist because people don't actively use it.

Might be cool if they added a game mode where you have to stay in a certain radius of your squad leader or else you can't cap or get points from kills.

The friendly fire thing ya gotta get used to. First thing when playing a tactical realism game is learning uniforms, its an essential part of war. Hats are the biggest tell. If its a metal helmet, german. If its a hat, russian. The problem is whenever you can't tell if the german commander foe or not, hes got a hat too. Good luck mate.

It would just be good to be able to squad up with friends and be able to know their location and spawn on whoever was going squad leader. Even brink had the ability to create fire-teams so you could track your friends down easier.

Project reality just had a total amount of kits per team and only a certain amount of kits could be used in one squad. I hope they do something about this because at the moment its too chaotic running around and trying to find your friends so you can work together. The game feels really lone-wolfy. :(
