Hi all
I have been playing KF for about 95 hours now but i seem to have hit a rut with my perks.
I am level 4 Sharpshooter and Commando and level 3 Support and Medic. I am finding in very difficult to make any headway with increasing to level 5 and level 4 respectively.
Anytips to increase headshots, stalker kills, shotgun damage ect?

Thanks

Clot buster sucidual until your sharpshooter 6lv, play beginner fleshpound only mutator, spawn as a sharpshooter, then switch to fire bug, demo or support @ wave 2. (demo can play normal or even hard mode, best map doing this would be west london and fourdry)

For medic and commando, play as one online and work hard......

The best way to level is to level legit. Grinding is technically legit but you are losing out on alot of gameplay if all you do it play doom 24/7, 1 specimen mutators and kiddie mode. ;)

Doom is removed for the moment and we should push more to get the muts off the list as well.

I have to disagree with you on the map choice.

Poundamonium on Waterworks is far, far better.
I know a spot where you don't take any damage unless you let the FPs stack up. This spot doesn't work for Demolitions, but it's awesome for Firebug.

There's also another spot i know of, on Icebreaker. If you reach this spot you'd be really unlucky to take any damage, but on beginner it's not really a problem.

EDIT: Oh and Departed. I know of a spot where you take next to no damage, and can level firebug and berserker pretty well. Another spot on this map is an exploit and or glitch, which i won't go into detail about. Suffice it to say it takes the challenge out of the game.

All of those were basically exploits lol, and waterworks fails.... It has around 50+ ****ing exploits (exaggeration of course, but it has probally 5+ exploits)
Oh and all of those maps have serious exploits xD!!

P.S. IF you want to level up quickly, find some cool maps invite some friends and have fun..... You'd be amazed how fast leveling passes you by just simply hanging out! If not heres my guide of awesomeness:

*Sharpshooter: is the easiest perk to level up so you don't need a guide on that.
*Field medic: Just do your ****ing job as a medic xD you'll get stumped around level 5-6 but that usually defines how much of a medic you are :p
*Commando: Play KF-survival , I usually wouldn't tell you what map to play to level up but seriously.... Commando is a gay perk to level up >.< and this map gives a **** LOAD OF STALKERS.
*Bezerker: Hack stuff up. (Not as in programming >:O)
*Demo: Just throw your nades I actually got around 4m in around a week of playing just throwing grendaes.
*Firebug: You might have to play bloated for this one...... Or just burn things :D
*Support Specialist: you get the damage EASILY. Welding..... Just weld a ****load of doors xD (BIOTICS!??!!?!)

exploit much?
encouraging exploiting in maps and admitting to using them to level is a surefire way to lose any potential respect KF players could have for you

Maybe he wasn't just mentioning the exploiting on waterworks... I mean the layout of the map allows for quick escapes all over the place :O...

he is encouraging the usage of a "level 2" exploit (by KEPT definition) which is a spot that allows you to sit and kill specimens without them hardly ever hurting you or never hurting you.

that is retarded and people who use these spots to level up should go back to counter strike or tf2 (where they inevitably will go back to anyway once they max out their perks and realize that people don't ooh and aah just because they are level 6 and then get bored of KF because they aren't playing it correctly and are only trying to increase the size of their e-dick.)

Grinding = doing the same thing over and over and over (killing clots for sharpshooter levels in solo for hours is an example.)

Its not illegal but it kills the spirit of the game in my opinion. Your true skills and tactics, not your perk skills can also lag behind because you are facing no real threat/challenge while grinding.

Then when you are finally level 6 and you hop in a suicidal server, you get bent over and screwed by specimens because you have not had the practice/experience of playing a regular game of killing floor.

(You kill clots only in solo for hours and you get levels, then you finally go into a "true" game, and a flesh pound appears, you aim with the xbow isn't as great because you have not practiced with it much. Either you die and your team has more specimens to deal with or you become a weak link that gets someone killed.)

It doesn't happen to everyone, some people are naturally good or maybe you have a second account you want to catch up on, but for the average player or newbie, grinding can be harmful to you and the people you end up trying to play with.

I have seen many sharpshooter just spam M14 bullets into a group of zeds... may be it works on wave 1-6, but when they do the same thing on a flesh pound, they dies:D

it just takes hours, if you wanna have fun, play legit on hard or suicidal (get some friends and play suicidal, you'll be surprised how fast you can lvl up.....damage only usually).
as for the weirder requirements stalker kills is the only ridiculous one and someone has already suggested KF-Survival, good luck!

Simply knowing about exploits is far, far different to using them.

Apparently to you guys, seeing someone use an M14 is the same to using it yourself.

I'd say sharpshooter is easy in general play, just practise with your favourite weapon until you can score headshots easily. I found for example if you aim slightly below the crawlers head you'll pop their heads instantly for the kill which really helps rack up the points, and makes you better in proper games too.

Commando you can usually find a spot where stalkers will genreally spawn. Like in Biotics if you stand to the right of the U room at the bottom of the stairs you'll get a cosntant flood. In West London, watching above the tunnels allows you to get plenty to pick on. Manor that dock type area outside is great for stalkers. Just analyse maps until you find the spot where stalkers tend to spawn.

Shotgun damage is a doddle, jsut ensure that you cut up big groups of clots and crawlers with every shot, and when your targetted by a Scrake or Fleshpound make sure you whittle down its health with the regualr shottie and then give it a big spike with the Hunting Shotgun.

Levelling legit doesn't only get your levels up with a real sense of accomplishment it also forces you to swtudy the game, and eally get the mechanics down pat. After some practise you will find that not only will your levels go up, but your general skill will also have improved as well.
