Overall, I think it was a VERY good year for PC gaming, don't you think? Even better than 2007 in my opinion, which was a great year too. Not bad, not bad...

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures - Some good ideas, but still horrible and with littel content
Audiosurf - Ok for 10min
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway- Decent
Call of Duty: World at War - haha... no
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Not my type of game and it dont like the cartoon style they went with
Civilization IV: Colonization - Original CivIV with expansions is better imo
Crysis Warhead - No
Fallout 3 - Ok, but too much oblivion for me
Far Cry 2 - Havent tested
Grand Theft Auto IV - Ok
Left 4 Dead - Simply awsome
Prince of Persia - Havent tested
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 - Please kill me
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky - Havent tested
Spore - As bad as hyped

Best Game:
Team Fortress 2. I know it's a 2007 game, but with all the patches/content it's the game I've had the most fun with in 2008. The rest of the releases were all a big dissapointment imo. Especially BIA HH and L4D.

Best Movie:
The Dark Knight and on the 2nd place 3:10 To Yuma.

Best Music:
Only real new albums I've listened to in 2008 is the new Metallica and the new Offspring album. And they are both kinda alright.

Best Porn:
Backdoors luts 9 (Ok if you don't watch Southpark you prolly don't get this)

Best game this year for me was Civ IV: Colonization, which says a lot about this year's games, because it was good but nothing more. I haven't played FarCry 2 but as far as I am concerned this year sucked for PC gaming.

A boring year in terms of gaming. Most of the hyped games were too shallow in my opinion and have pretty much no replay value. L4D was the only game that surprised me so I'll vote for that. GTAIV is fun in MP, but the campaign didn't live up to the hype at all.

From music Triarii's new album is definitely the best one for me.

Being a modification from another PC game actually doesn't take away the right to stay a PC game.
