Or at least I was having my best game of Fallen Heroes ever, when I crashed!

Finally zeroing in well with the Soviet rifle, was up past 10 kills, moving on an objective, killed by an MG from distance and CRASH.

Again.

This time it happened right after missing spawns.

Anyone know why sometimes you die and you pick your spawn point and the counter hits zero and nothing happens. This time I missed two spawns before I re-chose Rifleman from the roles and spawned again, only to crash after I was killed.

But the missed spawn things happens to me at least once a day.

Fallen Heroes is predictable but still fun, SO hard for the Russians to get up to the fountain or beyond it.

Never played German on the map yet.

Is that the map with the huge open space in the middle, and with all the snow around? If so I hate that one lol

As for missing spawns it started to happen to me :( Finally was able to get the sniper class on a mp, and then when i was killed i could not re-spawn. So I had to give up my sniper spot!!!

Hope there is a quick fix for this bug!

I don't like fallen fighters. It is the most boring map of them all. The most fun is infiltrating the enemy lines or driving the tank around there.

Of course you don't like Fallen Fighters if you're one of those guys that does not contribute towards the objective.
Infiltrating the enemy lines is usually completely worthless. Sure you might kill a few, but they will respawn not too far away. If you get killed however, you need to traverse the entire map again just to get behind enemy lines.

The most frustrating part of that map is when the team is not working together.

Allies --> Holding B is crucial
Axis --> Holding D is crucial

From there you can easily use the sewers to close in on C. The trick to the map itself lies mostly in Squad leaders using their smoke grenades. They really need to provide you some cover, otherwise you'll be target practice as soon as you try to stick your head out.

I love this map 99.9%, that .1% is when your Russian commander starts LARPing and executing the competent riflemen that are keeping C clear, whilst the useless marksman is allowed to derp around and remain an incompetent ineffectual unit. So I do my duty and move forward, watch C get overrun, respawn, watch B get overrun, respawn and watch the LARPer have a fit about people not listening to him.

A competent commander would know who is worth their position on the team, if I can kill 7 Germans heading to C at the map beginning, most being in the 150-200+ m range, and the marksman is only the marksman due to his faster PC/internet/whatever, and I am the one who gets pushed to the front, its a bit rich. Not that I would use the sniper unless you can detatch the godawful scope, I dont even bother levelling that junk because I would only use it to countersnipe with, I prefer Ironsights Bolt action Mosin, because it gives me a better view of the battlefield and I notice movement much easier.

My rant over, I love Fallen map, I just wish people werent bat**** retarded mongoloids who want to LARP a commisar when tehy should be LARPing a good commander who knows his assets and capable of determining who is dead weight to be used as fodder.

Outkilling a sniper with the normal bolt is embarrasing enough for the poor schlub, having his commander make him move forward would be too much, perhaps the commander is affording this useless meatbag to improve?

Ermm, usually I am one of the guys out there trying to cap while the most of both teams stick in the houses and never comes even close to cap. But it's frustrating to be the bunny running out there for all the shooters in the back.
Thats when I either grab a tank or try to stir up the building "campers".

If you multiply your way of thinking times 64, you have a full server of everyone doing everything except capping the objective.

It's great that you try to cap at one point, but if you get bored or frustrated and go play tank or keep running in the buildings. Then you're still no better than those that camp in the building all day.

Here's a guide:
1. Commit yourself to it, getting distracted is a no-no
2. Pick Squad Leader
3. Throw down smoke
4. Yell at teammates that they need to cap the objective
5. Yell some more
6. ???
7. Profit(Your team will win)

Atleast if you don't utterly suck at throwing smoke.

GAAWWDDD!! All you have to do to fix the no respawn bug is: OPEN THE CLASS MENU AGAIN > CLICK YOUR CURRENT CLASS (you don't have to select a different class and then move back to your old one, possibly losing it to someone else) > CLICK 'CONTINUE' > YOU SHALL NAO SPOWN. Is that so hard??? The bug occurs when you open the class menu and then press Esc. So in other words, choose a class at the beginning of the round and stop bringing your menu up just to check to see if marksman is free, you fagget. Sorry for getting so annoyed but i see people complaining about this bug ALL THE TIME and i don't understand why they haven't already found the work-around for it, i found it the first time it happened to me!

They way people are playing this map, if 1 team all rushed at once with lots of smoke, you could win the map in 2 minutes.

Get out of the houses!
