All right.

All right.

The mechanics of berzerker is that you aren't meant to simply stop your weapon usage on melee weapons.

Doing so would be a great error. An immediate proof is that if you do this, crawlers will eat you in less time than Painis Cupcake needs to say it.

So in the end, in order to be efficient as a berzerker, you need to know when to switch to your sidearm instead of letting the crawlers and the sirens chomp off 40 HP, leaving you defenseless to an eventual surprise buttsecks Gorefast strike.

Your "hint" was explicitly directed to begginer berzerkers. Well this is what I call negative influence, purely and simply. Begginer berzerkers do not have the extra oomph to survive a crawler herd or the dreaded siren funeral carol.

Using a sidearm is thus extremely useful and shouldn't be avoided.

The only situation in wich you should only focus on your primary blade is when you're camping some tiny place with a bunch of crowd controllers already taking care of the little ****. Which leaves you in another role where the zerk excels : taking care of big fishes.

But in the end, the zerk's true role is crowd control, thanks to his damage resistance and speed, he may avoid enough damage and deal some in the same proportions to take out the bulk of the horde and divert their attention so teammates may fulfill their role as intended.

So please stop trying to brainwash newcomers into segregating sidearms, please.

Also, if you weren't socially skilled to understand it, your way to write your messages is absolutely childish and at best laughable. Of course, we don't like your comment because of the reasons above. Now go get some literacy courses and come back when you hit "mental" puberty.

And please stop bolding parts of your sentences, we can decrypt your posts very well.

Thank you, that is what i wanted to tell me, not insults.

But what you're explaining about the role of the Berserker, is when you play alone or in team??,

Because when you play as a team using a "sidearm" do not think it is correct, because your team knows your weaknesses as a Berserker and they protect you in that, doesn't??.

Then i think that the Berserker would be the only need a "sidearm" when you play alone, that's right???.

I write some words with bold for you read with more attention that.

Teammates aren't always there.

Except, as I alreayd explained, when you are camping inside a tiny room, in which case you don't need a sidearm at all.

Even with teammates that I always find myself dealing with Crawler herds galore. If that's the case, I switch over to my sidearm and take care of it myself. If by some odd chance I actually have a good team, then I can worry about other things.

In which case you dont need a zerker at all, that body could generally be better spent as a different class

Not exactly, what are you gonna do if two scrakes enter the room in the same time ?

You'll want everyone to shoot small **** and one scrake while the zerk diverts the other one.

Basically what the zerk will do in this situation is really taunting the monsters into not getting inside, by staying at the entry point, generally.

In a team situation I've found having a LAR useful. The more experienced the overall team the less I have needed to use it though. If I were with a team where everyone had similar or more experience than myself then I'd probably not bother with a LAR and be lighter. Playing with people with 2-15 hours experience the LAR has allowed me to save their ***.

Not true, as berserker is ESSENTIAL for kiting away FPs if the team isn't ready and can deal with scrakes and gorefasts better than any other perk. Most importantly, should the rest of the team wipe he's the only one who can survive on his own, and can be the difference between a few dozen specimens with an axe shaped hole in them on wave 10, or "YOUR SQUAD WAS WIPED OUT".

People are quoting me, but forgetting the point I am actually quoting.

If a zerker needs to rely on his side arm when he has teammates, he shouldn't have need to switch to a sidearm/LAR, They'd be better off playing as a perk to handle such trash as the rest of team is pretty much ****.

its sad that a zerker has to use non perk weapons to play his perk.

/facepalm

because using a weapon offperk is soo wrong, right? well forgive me and hundreds of others for packing a handcannon when not playing sharp, and for experimenting with many different loadouts and not limiting ourselves to a certain regimen.

Especially medic with xbow which used to be popular before getting 2nd medic weapon

I think it was the nerf of the offperk xbow headshot multiplier that killed that trend, far more than having a second medic gun. If xbow weren't balanced down, plenty of medics would be running around with xbows and MP5s right now. Some would also have .44s, if those actually weighed 2.

But xbow medics are still being used against Patriarch, and that's something good :D

with the katana you are able to do two primary attack, right? what about an alt attack then a reg. attack?

also, i want to know more about the timing between attacks. i've seen other zerks who attack, let the FP swing and then attack almost immediately again (just as the FP's attack animation ends?) without it raging. or it seems like its way under 2 seconds between attacks.

Ive been testing this out on the test map, and Im fairly certain that after a complete FP double twirling grinders animation takes about 1.5 seconds, and the other animations (single swipe, double swipe) seem to be a bit over 1 second. Basicaly, it takes a quarter or maybe half of a second for a FP to react to an attack, so given that, and the time length of its animation, its safe to say that you can attack him, one second after his animations. Most people dont do it so fast, just so they make sure that they dont accidently enrage the FP by attacking him too soon. When in doubt, just wait for 2 seconds after the animation, and you should be fine

If you can do 2 primary attacks with a katana without a fleshpound raging (which seems familiar to me) then you can attack once every second, or hit him twice quickly at one point during the 2 seconds, either would achieve the same result.
