Chinese Type 58 (copy of RP-46, basically DPM with a conversion kit + belt) was in Vietnam.

This will give PAVN more option for higher firepower(IIRC current PAVN still only has RPD to choose from on all maps) while keeping PAVN and NLF different enough.
