Well, this is my first map and the first time I do something like this even have to finish it, there are many empty areas, but little by little I am completing, the map is in the workshop of steam up with the method cmd , being the first map I do and ignore completely the procedure, the file has the name of the version at that time was working "KF-Beach_Invasion_alfa_4_7.kfm" and the description will change the numeration when I upgrade, I guess this will be one of the many things wrong, but not if to rename the file another article other than workshop was created or the same item will remain with the new name, if anyone knows anything about this please let me I told it to fix , also I have pending upload it to http://www.moddb.com/, as I have said in another thread I made a query.

Hello, for some time to compile the map, some parts of this corresponding to the outside are black, without light, looking at the properties of the material affected I see a value always is changed, only for the moment I fix it by hand every once you compile the map will put the properties of light to look, someone prodría tell me I'm wrong to pass me this, or if this ever happens and there is no other solution than doing it by hand each time the map is compiled ?

After fix it by hand one by one, I keep and kept well until the next time you compile the light.

The images are not showing for me, but it sounds like you are having trouble with lighting on meshes?

If a mesh keeps changing lighting channel after building, it's either because:

a. The mesh is touching (even just partly) an indoor/outdoor lighting volume, or your map is lacking lighting volumes entirely. Make sure the mesh is completely inside your lighting volume.

b. If you have copy/pasted a mesh from another map, there's a good chance it has been set to Override lighting channel in the properties. If a mesh is set to Override lighting, then it doesn't care which lighting volume it is inside of; it will always receive light from whichever lighting channel the Override is set to.

c. You can manually set an Override on the meshes lighting if you need to. If you for example have a mesh inside of an Indoor lighting volume, but you want it to receive light from an Outdoor light, go to the mesh properties and check "Outdoor" in the Lighting channel, and then check the "Override Auto Lighting Channels" which forces the mesh to use whichever lighting channel you choose, regardless of which lighting volume it touches.

Now the problem I have is with the textures of landscape, I want to change I have, but after following the footsteps of two videos that explain how to do, I keep, compile the map, then charge it locally in the game and sees all blue and white squares, not the map is saved with the textures I created.

I have also seen that out of the sdk tool when open and charge map out the blue squares and white, I have to import the .upk package and load the map, it is then that looks good textures again, I can not the map is saved with the textures I do.

Someone can tell me how.
