BD's Hunting Rifle Integration revisited?

Yes, this has been mentioned before, someone wanted it added. Same here. Same story. I want it integrated into the game. It's a true Sharpshooter weapon. I wish I could get his opinion on it... Braindead, if your out there. Talk to me! And yes, this is an idea thread, what's the forum members stance on this?

BD's hunting rifle is far better then the M99 is or ever was. Atheistically and mechanically. (not to rag on IJCs work, I just prefer BD's Hunting Rifle)

Despite being new, thirded. Personally re-scoping allowances should be the same as crossbow however aesthetically and by the whole idea of the hunting rifle, may fit a nice niche in the sharpie's loadout.

I just downloaded it off of Steam workshop yesterday. I've been using it on my listen LAN server with my friend and we love it. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it replaces the MKb42, which I often use as an off perk side-arm. Make it offical and that problem would be solved.

I wouldn't be too quick to judge the M99. It servers as a weapon for desperate times, in the hands of a skilled sharpshooter, it can save the day or be the team's worst financial nightmare. As for the Hunting rifle. It's a true Sharp Shooter weapon next to the crossbow. It's in-between the crossbow and Leaver action in terms precision and penetration.

Someone wanted it added a while back, I thought I'd bring it up again as I supported this movement.

@poosh: The weapon will outclass the crossbow only by the number of rounds at one's disposal. Though you cannot recover bullets over bolts. The play style is meant for one of precision and patience. Like I said, a true Sharp Shooter weapon.

Thing is, your version (in ScrN mutator ) where the Hunting Rifle has the rate of fire bonus similar to the LAR, THAT version of the rifle is useful and balanced. The non-ScrN version is a little underpowered (the slow rate of fire makes it a bit poor).

EDIT: I just realized how negative my post looked! Oo The thing is, the Hunting Rifle is propably my absolute favourite weapon of all mod weapons. I SO want it to be part of the retail game!

Yes it does but then again, there's the (Golden)AK47 and Tommy Gun, both(all3) are just as the same as the MKb42.

Also I now use the Whitelisted version of IJC's m99 rifle, sadly you can't have both IJC pack and BD's rifle together.

Hey thanks for the love guys, I would also LOVE to see this as an official release but it's down to TWI to decide.

Hopefully threads like this will have some impact on the decision.
