Yeah, unfortunately the Steam integration of Battlefield ****ed a lot of things up, particularly for people that bought the complete, offline package. Games with big overarching account systems, and multiple dependent expansions have never jived with Steam well when they're added retroactively. Company of Heroes is the exact same bull****.

I should have been more clear, I have brand new boxed copy that I just bought because Steam version mods don't work. And I also have CoH from Steam and I know that it was soooooooo big screw up I can think of, having to download the whole game each and everytime update was released..
Tell me how it goes. I just deleted everything BF2 has in my system, including all the registry entries or whatever. Installed just BF2 from the disc and everything it automatically installs(1.41 patch), and still it gives me no valid cd-key. If it only had something other problem like crashing or error messages and I could try to find some solid fix for it or changing drivers ect, but this...
