Indeed it is. I noticed this back when the first few trailers were released. It is rather annoying IMO. It worked nice in Crysis 2 due to the sci fi setting, but it seems out of place in BF3.

After 4 days of playing im tired of this train wreck.
I was pretty optimistic on day 1 and had a couple of good matches but from day 2 it all went down to hell fast.

The spawnkilling is horrible and zero patching in the beta? seriously?

Yeah, for me the killer is dying in cover due to client side hit detection.

Its absolute garbage. Id be really upset if i paid 50 euro for this.

I feared ping compensation was in the PC version after watching some early videos.

Now that it's basically being thrown out there for all to see there's pretty much no chance I'll bother with BF3.

I was really really on the fence bad about it but this nudged me off. The strikes against the game are becoming too numerous.

I've never noticed any of this, granted I'm playing the beta on the Xbox. So either you guys are blowing all this way out of proportion, or the PC version has a bunch of problems that the Xbox doesn't

That the console build doesn't struggle with the solution custom built for it, and the PC build does, doesn't come as that big of a surprise.

I don't know if anyone remember how bad I tought this game was gonna be, but I take it all back.
I got 18 hours of playing now, and the game is just amazing.
It's kinda like a modern era mod of RO2.
