Not rude at all ...just to the point. No offense meant simply sticking to the reality of it all.

It was understood but too generalized... Only time they used the Bipods was when "ordered" to do so. "Most", as indicated, never came into question....

Obviously, you've never tried to move quickly in and through jungle growth with a twenty pound weapon attempting to stay alive and having your folded or unfolded Bipod's legs snagging everything in sight. Or, having the Bipod on and open on a beachhead firing the weapon and watching it bury itself in the sand/loose soil/mud.
Rest assured, there were none keeping that thing on their weapon. Besides, removing it reduced the weight by approx three pounds.

And you have? Mike spare us the bull****, your old but I dont think your quite old enough to be a WW2 vet.

Ok, I'll ignore your insolent attitude and BS insults....
I may not have been in combat in WW2, however, I, as a child watching and learning what went on around me, experienced the times and heartbreaks it and the Korean Conflict caused. (I paid attention).. but that does NOT mean I have NEVER had combat training or personally been in combat. Have you?
Why must most all debates wind up in the throes of personal attacks?

I would like to see an animatuion for that but the fact is that an animation takes time and that is reaction time you lose when being confronted with an enemy who might not need to deploy to be able to fire at you first.

The new players will complain about this because it brings them further from their twitch game. TWI seems to be out to please them most.

Probably because your responses have a rather patronising, dismissive air about them. I'm sure that wasn't the intention, but that's the way it appeared, so don't be surprised when people get defensive.

Back on topic, I'm willing to accept that no Marines in the Pacific theatre ever used the BAR bipod. That said, from a gameplay perspective I think it's a nice feature and marks the BAR out more as a support weapon, rather than just a bit automatic rifle. I feel more encouraged to use it for suppressive duties.

That Sir.... is a two-way street. I like corn flakes too. ;)

I held a BAR with a bipod once at an arms fair.

It was really damn heavy and I've had zero issues with handling very very many military rifles.
