In the last three days I witnessed axis team commanders preoccupied with getting the A objective of Hanto by mass banzai charging while the allied defense was not softened sufficiently.
Simply putting an arty strike in the center leaves the BAR gunners, machine guns and flamethrower operators unmolested. The result is a perfect mass execution of banzaiing japanese soldiers.
Imho an axis squad should infiltrate the right and left flank and try to interdict the allied reinforcements.
Before the banzai charge, three or two groups should be just in front off the objective in order not to loose too much stamina. Then spam their granades and start the rush in.
There is no point in a large group in the middle of the river close to collapsing shouting "Banzai!" and being roasted and gunned down by mashineguns.
