Bandits/Looters

so i had a interesting idea for a zed bandits and looters they are basically deformed humans who failed the horizons projects. they still have all their intelligence and memorys which is why their able to use weapons just as the players do and have a small chance to spawn a random weapon including the new ones upon death the bandit would have about the health range of a clot and gorefast looters have less health then scrakes but roughly around that area and wear armor unlike its bandit counter part the looters have a small chance to spawn armor or ammo upon death.

Could get pretty hard, if there are a bunch of zeds shooting at you (and you cannot even dodge like the husk cannon).

Maybe a little different it might work better. Imagine a Horizone security officer who has been infected, exposed, whatever. Only armed with a 9mm, but wearing a helmet (so you should not try to headshot him) and maybe even body armor (only arms and legs vulnarable).
As common as sirens and healthwise on such a level. Movement speed should be like crawlers or stalkers.

Dropping a 9mm would be quite useless but reasonable.
Dropping an ammo crate would be useful.

i agree, this would add an interesting element to the game and would be kinda cool if you come acroos humanish creatures that wear like a helmet or have a 9mm, that runs outta ammo after a bit, would be interesting but also not be too overwhelming.

i did mention a small chance to spawn a random weapon didnt i? that includes shotgun,explosives,assault riffles,sharp shooter weapons,berserker and of course firebug not just the 9mm :] .

yea but would SUCK if your fighting zed and BAM you die because a zed spawned with a AA12 or M99. when you get even 3 zed with some kind of gun it would become a bit tougher.

these guys arnt trained professionals so they wouldnt be able to use the weapons to their fullest potential chances are their gonna have sloppy aim like the husk.but yes i agree that would suck if one of these guys spawned in while your fending off a swarm and long ranged you. maybe they only carry a specific weapon like the ak or something but have a small chance to spawn any random weapon.

how about a random T1 or T2 weapon instead of any random one? a zombie that spawns with a shotgun, no matter how you get hit with that its gonna hurt.

Imagine 3 zeds with shotguns. This would hurt so much.
A dropping chance for Tier 1 and 2 weapons would be ok, but please no usage.
I tried a mod with guns once, it was only bullpups and it ripped us to shreds, having 4 zeds shooting at our group.

ok how bout this sense bandits have the health values between a clot and a gorefast theyll carry a 9mm for their weapon and have a drop chance of a random t1 or t2 weapon and and looters have a slightly less health then a scrake with a drop chance of armor or a ammo crate their spawn rate would be roughly around a fps spawn rate like maybe 1 or 2 per wave they can spawn with a shotgun or bullpup as their weapon bandits will spawn about as frequently as a bloat or siren. although it might make more sense to swap the drop chances for both enemys.

I think they should be rare, fast, and weak. They should also have a chance to run away and disappear if not killed fast enough. I think they should more commonly drop ammo boxes.

thats the bandits their pretty much common zeds. looters are the rarer stronger ones.
