The sharpshooter should have reducted health (like 50 instead of 100) so they can stick to a more supportive role (staying back and picking out the ZEDs)

This will make it so people will not be able to rambo with the damn M14 anymore, a fleshpound/scrake will screw them. They'd have to stay back behind the team to do what sharpshooters are MADE to do, support the team by taking out the larger ZEDs from a distance.

I think game is balanced as it is and almost EVERY sharpshooter I've seen has a **** kill amount. Support and But they can deal out a lot of damage to the bigger ZEDs. Reducing the damn health will force sharpshooters not to rambo.
Would be a nice idea, but I've seen too many lvl 5/6 SS with M14 never being touched while rambo-ing. But your idea could be useful if they would alter some weapons.

also @ nanostike: support spec is no more costly then the others if you use your head, just never NEVER buy ammo for your HS. level 6 HS selling + buying new puts you down about ~60 quid? after that ammo for pump and aa12 is not to expensive. support specs real downside is that every weapon he has is close range, and slow reload; so timing is EVERYTHING.

I think you need to take another look at support specialist. I wish it cost

Demo costs to do a full refill make that look almost funny.

I'm not a huge Support player but those guys could use another couple clips on the Auto.

Whatev, demo's plenty cash-efficient if you're not shooting/throwing nades/dropping pipes everywhere unnecessarily like a tool. Speaking from rank 5/6 on hard/suicidal.

You don't have to kill everything yourself- it's a team game: shooting 1 nade-launcher round to weaken a crowd of gorefasts enough to be killed by 1 bullet a piece from a teammate is very ammo & cost efficient for the both of you.

I'll give you this though: for the piss-poor damage they do, hand grenades are blasphemously overpriced.

I am very excited that a patch is coming, I wonder when it will be here, and if will be full of rainbows and unicorns? maybe all of my heart's desires
I would be satisfied with a good nerf of the M14, crossbow and certain other T3 weapons.

Assuming level 6 demo discounts..

m79+m32+pipe+9mm+grenade
240+120+224+160+132 = 876 for a full load.


I usually use a SCAR as a secondary weapon so my load is a bit cheaper:
SCAR+m32+pipe+9mm+grenade

225+120+224+160+132 = 861 for a full load.

Demo is not cash-efficient.

On suicidal you're going to be out of ammo at the end of the wave regardless of how frugal you are. On wave 8-10 you might even burn through spare weapons you've placed during cheaper waves.

8 pipes might seem like a lot until the specimen count hits 340.

Think what gets support specialist is the increased ammo capacity. While it's great we carry more ammo, it comes at increased costs. It's not horrible in the fact that I can keep my guy stocked, I just don't have extra cash to share usually.

50% less health would be a serious burden in hard/suicidal, how about instead of that you just disallow them from purchasing armour?

Both way just make sharpshooters stand NO CHANCE against an raged fp/scrake or sneaky gorefasts on suicidal as they can instan-kill them.

Well, its the frequent insta killing that everyone can do with ease that needs to be adjusted.

M14, Crossbow VS FP, Scrake on suicidal is a joke. The game is too easy until wave 11 in my opinion when you just apply just a tiny bit of teamwork.

I cant believe the hordes of lvl 6 SS on Doom_Final and others maps insta-killing FP's like its nothing, all game long. Whats the fun of that?
