I've noticed sometimes the ironsight tip sometimes makes a perfect and noticeable point, but other times it looks like there's 2 of them side by side shaped kind of like /\/\ rather than just /\, if you get the idea. When shooting at very long range targets, it's kind of annoying to deal with.

Here's a picture of what I'm talking about (top is normal, bottom is the issue)

I think it has something to do with the zoom, when I zoom in or out with the spring button I can see the 2 tips crossing over each other during the animation, but they don't line up when zoomed in or out completely.

Same issue here, sometimes it can be a lot worse that what the OP has shown in the screenshot, as if there are 2 models of the rifle on top of eachother or something.

Yeah, the problem with disabling DoF for me though, is it makes the game so dark that it is unplayable, no amount of turning up brightness or tweaking graphics settings helps.

Also, I seem to suffer from the messed up ironsights more on certain maps, Appartments and Barracks usually are fine but Station is the worst to the point where it's difficult to kill!

dof dont make any difference for me but if its to dark for you type in the console (F3) gamma 3, the higher the number the brighter it will get.

I too have the same issue. Turning DOF off doesn't help for me. It looks like a black shadow behind the weapon rather than a double model. It has something to do with the direction of the camera and the effect also varies from map to map, which makes me think it's connected to the lighting. On maps like Station it's really bad. I hope this gets fixed soon!

I get this too, also I have depth of field off so that's not a fix. It seems like it's rendering two iron sights on top of each other to me. Also I get the sniper sights sometimes sharp and crisp and some times blurred, may be related.

I dont have it myself anymore but i have quite some settings changed. my shadows are on low and ambient occlusion is off perhaps that makes the difference.

I tried to turn Ambien Occlusion off, didn't help unfortunatly. It did however remove mouse lag in the menus and server browser so I think I will stick with it off.

Here is another shot that shows the effect at it's worst. (It's not only the kar98 that's affected, it's just more noticable on a gun with a pointy ironsigt tip). Could a dev please confirm that this bug is recognized and worked on? The biggest gamebreaker for me right now..

BUMP please this is happening to me as well, with some guns it makes it impossible to aim.. Please fix this.. It seems its worse when pointing in certain directions. I can't confirm what directions but just try a map like station as the germans with a k98 and point it in the sky and move it around you'll get a double hood and sight point... It's annoying as hell. Total game breaker. Please let us know you're aware of it
