Got some questions for TWI:
MP5 - How do you activate its flashlight if secondary fire is gonna be for healing darts?
The F key by default turns on the flash light, and alt fire is a separate key if I recall correctly. I know with my mouse my alt fire is a side button and my flashlight is F, so they can have functional flashlights without anything being messed up.
Just for clarification:
The MP5 doesn't have any flashlight functionality, I believe that thing that looks like a flashlight is the healing dart launcher. Either that or someone modeled a flashlight and we missed it
The M4 is full or select (single fire). The M4 w/203 is fully auto always.
And regarding how realistic the damage/power of weapons are, we don't really aim to make that fully realistic in KF. Really its probably "semi-realistic" and our goal is just to make the weapon feel real and powerful. In KF we mostly just balance the weapons to what feels right vs the other weapons and the zeds. Now if you want realistic weapons we make another game called Red Orchestra 2 ...![]()
Aww that's a shame :/The MP5 doesn't have any flashlight functionality, I believe that thing that looks like a flashlight is the healing dart launcher. Either that or someone modeled a flashlight and we missed it![]()
True datRealistic or not, KF has probably the best-feeling weapons in any game I've played
I saw the pictures of the new skins, then saw comments referencing the "new look" for DJ Scully.
Isn't the guy with the gold skull-mask Mike Noble?
Wasn't the DJ Skully character released before MW2 actually hit the shelves?
Didn't know when DJ Scully came into existence before Ghost in MW2, my bad. Though the similarities between the two characters seems interesting to say the least, quite coincidental. My better question is what was the knowledge of scully beforehand of his release versus ghost in mw2? I didn't get into KF myself until middle of 2010 myself so I wouldn't know if DLC characters before my time was made publicly known for quite a while or only made known the day of their release as the past couple of DLC's were.
