AA12 actually sucks, I prefer a handcannon and pump shotgun. The pump is better, and 1/10th the cost. It has more range and damage per shell, and you can reload and fight one shell at a time. I have used the AA12 a few times, wasn't really impressed by it.

For the record, I have 50M dmg as support, and regularly play HoE, so I am not just guessing about it.

Pump has more damage per shell?

If that is the case, maybe AA12

How many aa12 shots does it take to kill a 6 man HoE Scrake? I'm pretty sure it's more than 20 shots, while a 6 man HoE Scrake will die to 3 well placed pump shotgun shots and a very well placed hunting shotgun alternate fire. If you don think its possible to get that without it raging on HoE, ask Rainy or any other player that plays with me regularly. It's not that hard and totally doable. Also just to make sure this isn't even touching an axe, katana, or any other zerker weapon.

Also for the person wanting a clip fed shotgun, check out the white listed 2.6 (I think that's the version) of the IJC weapon pack, as the have a Kel-Tec Shotgun in it. The KSG is a bullpup style shotgun.

Just tested on KF-testmap6p on scrake as support level 6 with AA12 ( distance matters too ):

1. head = 12 shots

2. upper chest = 15 shots

3. abdomen = 22 shots.

Anyone else can test as well? Better if more results!

I'm just hoping (what looks like) the revolver isn't to similar to the Colt Python I made otherwise the overhaul I've been trying to work on will be in vain.

Another sword is a bit dull, (lol I made a funny /facepalm)

I hope the husk cannon is a more refined version of the husk's, if it's simply a husk cannon with a pistol grip it'll be disappointing.

All the other weapons with the possible exception of the smg look boring interms of different function. ie, another pumpshotgun, another AR with dot sites

And the AR with nade launcher unless rather pants is going to be game breaking. Imaging strapping the AK or Scar to the M79.

Although what ever happens I think it's going to fun
(at least up until the new tsunami of 'waa so and so is UP/OP and should be buffed/nerfed" threads start. :rolleyes: )

I am excited about Demo getting the ability to more properly defend himself in CQC. He is currently the one that is most at risk for this task. Killing a zed close up with a single nonexploding nade or suicide are not good options.

This will be interesting, when Demo

I see a chance for me to switch perk...finally!!! I practically only play support, because support is a so very potent class.

Ironically that is the main reason I don't play support ;)

I look forward to this release and hopefully getting some real KF players back. Just spent 2 hours playing with glitchers, exploiters and lamers. We thankfully got demolished at wave 10/10 by a unlucky double FP&Siren spawn in the tunnel on Manor.

I would have resented that level achievement every time I saw it had we won. Saved me the trouble of having to decide whether to quit before the end :)

I find myself quite interested to see what roles these weapons will play as far as balance goes. I feel a debate coming on :)

**** this! I Have my rights complaining about the mp5 beeing totally overpowered in my own thread! gawd if they would just remove the rocket launcer attatched to it, I think it would be ok! and raised the carry weight to 10 so people cant use it with the "over powered multi bullet penetration exploding revolver" with healing aura!! cuz that is just to epic of a combo! gawd DO SOMETHING ALLREADY!!

But the MP5 having a mounted sight rather than the ironsights makes me a bit sad. :( Still gonna be using it a ton, though. :IS2:
