How will attacking/defending work? Will both teams have objectives to Capture or will it be more like one team starts with no objectives and has to push through a series of strong points?

The first map I made is a push / pull style. So eeach team starts n their trench area and two neutral objectives are in the middle. Once a single team owns both objectives, the enemy trench objective enables and this is how you would win. If the team defending their trench area re captures one of the central objectives, then their base disables and they can try to cap the second central objective. Hope, that makes sense. I will post a picture later.

For my part, I've been working on the typical kind with an attacking and defending team, which can just be switched in the case of a campaign, but I will probably try making one of the kind Nymets has next.

Hey guys! Status update: the mod is nearing first release. I'd like to run a public test this weekend. There would still be some missing models, textures etc but what I want to see is how much of the 'coding' side of things is working online.

I'm working on it all day today and tomorrow; I'll be releasing on Saturday night EST. 40-1 MORD says he's able to get a 16-player server to host it Sunday :)

It should also be functional in offline mode.

Very nice=) I tried to mod, and I like all the stuff so far. I only was able to try it for a bit though. I didn't notice anything buggy, but if I do. Will be sure to tell ya=)

Sorry guys but didn`t manage to get it working properly on the server.
Problem is that you can only choose a team. Then you see only one "hero" role and no weapons to pick up at all. After selecting this role you cant respawn as "continue" button doesn`t work.
Another strange thing is that in web admin after selecting game type Aufmarsch I cant see the map on the list (map ini file in correct place).
Maybe someone else would like to try if it work for him on the server.

Ok. I am trying to get in touch with Commander Shepard from HOTW to find out what the problem may be.
