Asus eeePc: Anyone tried one yet?

Wow didn't expect that. You have Windows now or still Linux?



Switched over to Windows so I could try this. :D


I'll probably switch back to Linux now though. After playing with XP on here for a few hours, I sorta miss the Linux. Sucks, though, because there's a few programs that I want to use that are windows-only-ish. :(

Am i blind, or do none of thease things have a DVD drive? that does sorta limit ones options it would seem, if true.

Still, they do look fun, so can any of you test something for me? i have but one use for a laptop, and that use is retro gaming, as i have found laptops will very often run older games, even under XP, that just wont run on a modern desktop (even with all the little helpers like VDM sound, Nolfb.Com and Dosbox), but will the eePC?

So if any of you have one, and some old stuff like NOLF, Duke3D, Blood, Dune2 or what have you, would you investigate?
