You an reliably kill the hull gunner by rushing in front of the tank, and spraying your weapon into the hull gunner's turret which is sticking out the front of the tank.

Are you daft? He's obviously talking about assault suicide. Y'know, where you spray at a tank and stuff.
Now i understand what he meant, but dude seriously, your topic title and info is like completely not understandable. Try to atleast explain it properly.
i thought it mean rushing in with the T-34 and spraying the front of the PzIV...
my mistake is based on fact, a T34 rushed me once on gumrak
luckily i saw him, and aparently killed his gunner because he didnt even open fire, so i fired a second time and it blew up.

I saw something like that. Except the T-34 made it to the PzIV and rammed into it so that the PzIV was ontop of it. Luckily my gunner shot him in the engine before any damage was done.
