On a greek island.Any information on where American Foreign Policy Simulator 3 will be set?
Which one would you prefer? For a half second thought you said "geek island".
Secondly, the player avatar suffers from the same thing WWIIONLINE does: feeling as if I'm walking through syrup instead of air while wearing a neck brace and concrete boots.
First off, the UI is definitely a no-go for me.
It's not that I can't familiarize myself with the set-up of the UI, but I find it unnecessarily difficult, time consuming and not realistic.

Lastly, this time, before I purchase another game from BIS, they must deliver on MP. I'm through with boring CO-OP and want to have fun with Arma just like I do with RO/DH. I'm a social creature that needs to get my fix of killing real people through a video game.
Having said all of that, if I weren't a rational person I would have gotten a a tattoo of OFP/CWC on my lower back, probably preventing me from getting a fianc
I'm actually quite disappointed that it's "futuristic modern warfare" and not 70's or 80's.
But then again, there's no way I'll be able to play it anyway, not with my current system.
I forsee clunky, robotic movement/gameplay, buggy AI (hell bugs in general), and **** opimization/frame rates.
Thus, until I hear otherwise, I won't be excited for/purchasing this one.
Yep hate to say it but I agree. I bought ARMA 2 and it felt like I had a really cool tech demo installed on my hard drive. It never felt like a "game" to me, even when I played with friends. Even in coop it was usually an exercise in frustration.Period.

Both of us would spend most of our time tweaking graphics settings just so that we could see what was going on and frequently avoided certain areas on the map just because of ****ty performance LOL ... talk about a buzz-kill. Then once we had found ways around those things we'd get one shotted hiding in a bush by an AI a mile away and have to repeat the entire process. Then we played RO.
Hopefully they can make ARMA 3 1) run better 2) be easier to play without dumbing anything down 3) have decent AI 4) have a control scheme and command system that makes sense to the above-average human being, and 5) have a single player campaign that isn't bugged to the point of being broken.

Why they don't fix the issues with the game and just throw in fictional helicopters and random guns is beyond me.
