Since this is a place to put up art, I thought I'd repost some photos I originally put up at Battle for Europe in honor of Veteran's Day here in the US.

"Anyway, yesterday morning, before I left town I stopped by Santa Monica Beach to check out the "Arlington West" memorial. It's a display made by Iraq Veterans for Peace every Sunday (and all Veteran's Day Weekend) to honor the sacrifice of the 2000+ American sodliers killed in Iraq.
It was a very moving and heart breaking experience reading the names of these men and women, and especially reading the stories and letters from friends, loved ones and family.

If you're in the Los Angeles area, I suggest paying respects to these fallen men and women. And just to clarify, here in the US, the Pentagon and current Presidential Administration has banned photographs of soldier's caskets. I feel this does a disservice to our soldiers, as it belittles their sacrifice (wether or not you agree with the war).
