I will make GrB39, but only for 43-44 years map. I will not make it for Stalingrad maps ( for historical accurate ). I hope mappers will not brake history :D
We also are working on PPD-40 , for example

P.S. i already fixed handguard length on PPD, just too lazy to open max and make new screen :D

Well, I've read that both PPD-40 and Suomi smg have the same "roots". The Suomi was inspired by SIG Bergmann smg, which was a licenced copy of the German MP-18. The PPD-40 was a modified version of the PPD-34, which structure was copied from the MP-28, which was an improved version of the MP-18. And the drum magazine of PPD-40 used was almost a direct copy of the "Koskinen" drum magazine developed for the Suomi. Interestingly even the overall manufacturing numbers are about the same, around 80 000 pieces, but that's just a coincidence.

PPD-40 even "imitated" Suomi in Red Orchestra: Ostfront, where "Germans" could use it in a map called Mannikkala.
