Are sirens supposed to pull you closer?

I've noticed that when sirens scream while they're near you, you slowly move closer to them by small teleports. Is this intentional? I really don't like this as it can really throw me off when my aim

Yes. It's one of many new mehanics to make game harder and some zeds more scary

They pulled you in KF 1 as well. It isn't a new mechanic.

That seems to be their main job now...at least they dont do as much damage with their screams...they were the biggest threat in KF1...now they are only really a utility zeds, as in those that help other zeds own you or pop your grenades...

honestly popping grenades is strong enough as it is...could mean you waste tons of nades trying to kill FP (and forces you to focus sirens first)....in 1st game the damage was insane

Yeah, the pull is not smooth, it makes the sirens appear to be stutter rubberbanding forward.

I actually really love the pull, it makes things harder :c but I saw it's been removed in the patch notes.

Hmm, I think maybe it'd be cool to just remove it from normal but higher difficulties have the pull? Idk.
