Are players cheating?

Yep that video is simple skill. Most of his regular bolt action shots were normal easy pickens. Now when it comes to the semi-auto, it just makes it that much easier only because once you miss, you simply adjust for the next shot and if you can do it with a single shot most of the time it's just that much easier when you have all the bullets available to you without having to rebolt.
Guys cry that come running at you with spray and pray tactics not realizing that their shots are simply silhouetting you. You just as a bolt action or semi person know that sweet spot and if you got it down then you are just skilled at it.
As I said I'm pretty darn good at hip shooting but I also miss quite a bit, I'd say I'm probably about 60-40 with it. I don't use anything else except the bolt so when it comes to semi-auto - I just figure if it's that easy with a bolt it can only be easier with multiple shots. He had plenty of misses too and that with a bolt usually means death.
Heck as another example the machines guns for some large or small with single shots or small burst is just as deadly as a sniper rifle to the guys that have gotten good at it - just follow the tracer to the target.
So I'd still only put the cheating even on public servers to 1% if even that. Most of those items seen have been squashed with VAC and Anti-BS or as someone said that has already been coded in by the devs. When cheats are seen or detected the devs have with patches stopped many of them from being able to be used and that's how the community works.

I've recently endeavored to try and make the MG34 an effective assault gun while hipped...in certain situations at least. In Zhitomir, for example. Makes me feel like Rambo without actually "ramboing"
Overall the purpose of the MG is for wide-area support, but in certain situations...
on that last vid, i just saw skill in those hipshots....but most of them were not too difficult of shots.....however, i noticed something odd about the sprinting....there were too times in that clip when he went from normal walk, to sprint, to a whole nother speed...don't know if it was just my eyes or not. even in the acceleration from run to sprint, that sprint was WAY faster than any sprint i have ever seen......and oh yeah, i love how people avoided commenting on the first video, maybe they just didn't see it or something, or maybe just a quick change of subject to distract from proof of cheating....which this thread is really about, not showing off skill....just my observations...
Actually I think it was how the video was shot because I thought the same thing about the sprinting and yes that was the only thing I saw that was odd, but I think you can increase the game speed for one and if it was not that then it was just how the video was shot (Meaning done in software).
Now as far as people not seeing that other video, we've all said it already sure there are cheats out there and I even stated myself that same cheat that video depicted has probably already been squashed by the devs of the game. Every time a cheat becomes popular or is turned over to the devs etc. they release patches etc. that usually squash them.
I also mentioned about the AntiBS mutator which as someone stated was coded into the game now (VAC I take it) meaning they won't be able to play with certain hacks, or cheats. Now I'm not totally sure that video's HAXXX or whatever it was, was actually squashed to this point but how old was that video as well?
People can post videos all day about RO cheats and many were from the MOD days and have nothing to do with OSTfront, not only that so many hacks and cheats have come and gone to date only because of the community bringing them forward and VAC or mutators etc. that have been created to rid the game of those. More will come they always do but it doesn't change the fact that the cheaters are probably so few that it's really a moot point.

The video reminds me of someone who perhaps has figured out exactly where the hipshot zero is and put a little dot of whiteout or erasable marker on their screen. Draw on the crosshairs and you don't have to guess; Counterstrike players trying to make it in RO.
It might work if you use the hipshooting 'exploit' but in most cases your weapon will not be centered. There's weapon sway in addition to the weapon resting off center when you turn left or right. I think this also goes for up and down as well. Though Gotta does seem to make an effort to keep his weapon centered as he is focusing on those hip shots. Most of them he takes time to aim his hip shot, they're not reflexive.
I was told CoreNA is waiting for me to post. So, so as not to disappoint them: All of CoreNA hacks. I know it's true because some guy with a strange name shot me once with a G43.

As clown said, if you have found a cheat for RO, please send it to me and TWI staff or forum moderators (or all 3 for best results). Never treat any cheat you find as already reported. For best results, get your hands on private/payed for cheats and loading methods. TWI has worked hard to keep cheats out of the game and will continue to do so while people continue to play.
