Level Design Apartments relit (WIP)

Heya,

Decided to see if I could change the mood/setting of the Apartments map in RO2:HOS to something else. Always wanted to see that city on fire, so the idea is to have the map take place the same night the bombs hit the city, with raging fires and chaos.

I am about two eavnings into it, after having spent one mostly optimizing lightmaps to get a reasonable build time, and the other getting the basics out as well as making some new effects.

I have still alot of the interior spaces left and alot of FX work to do, not to mention a new sky... I am not sure what will come of this in the end, but I thought I'd share what I got so far.

Wow that is badazz. The raging fires look like they balance out the dark areas well. Odessa was redone last year as a night map and i loved it although some thought it was too dark. This looks really good so far.
