Anyone here with an 8800GTX or Ultra?

I have a 8800 GT, and the game performs well on high settings, no AA, 16X AF, 1280x960 screen resolution. I get consistent framerate, the game is fully playable, although in great part is thanks to the rest of my PC, a I7 2600k processor @3.4ghz and 8gb of RAM at 1600mhz offsets the somewhat outdated GPU (I had it from my previous PC)

Do you use an external sound card too?
I have normal on shadows, ambient occultion is off, AA is on low because i like 60 fps more than less.
I get from 35-65 frames per second depending on map. rest of it is on ultra with an resolution of 1680x1050
average fps is like 50

8800 GTS. I run 1280x1024, with custom settings. Character model detail high, most other settings medium to low. I'd say I get a solid 30 FPS EXCEPT inside the buildings on Pavlov's, Commissar's and a few other places.
My game runs about that bad on a 6850. I also have 2x 2.83 ghz.
Performance issues seem to be all over the place with video cards - maybe it *is* the processor speed. If your processors can't handle the game then your framerate and video card usage doesn't really matter.
I have a Corei5 750 (2.67ghz) and that's why I think my FPS aren't in the ****ter at what I run it at. When the Rising Storm team says it's a very processor intensive game, I tend to believe them.
My i7 2600k with a 580gtx, and 8 gig ram @ 1600mhz runs this game like crap. Poor performance, I'm talking dips into less than 1fps.... Guess I should have known better to buy new hardware.

Yeah its old but somehow still maxing new games out... except RO2 which goes at 20-25 fps on high... and about 20-30 fps on medium. Theres just no point in lowering the graphics, sometimes it stutters for about 1/2 a second,which basically means SMGs are totally unusable, i've spent the entire clips in that amount of time and missed in a 1.5 metre wide corridor at 5 m range while aiming down sights.... madness
