Just wondering if there's any plans by Tripwire to add the Italians, Hungarians or Romanians on some maps just outside of Stalingrad.

Also if there's no plans by Tripwire. Are there any plans from modders?

If you want to play an army that gets stomped consistently by their enemies, just play Allies.

You do realize that the Russians won Stalingrad.

And as far as game play is concerned, the Russians can easily win, it just requires team work. If you see a Russian unit playing as a team, you'll see just what I mean.

It's not like the Axis can't use teamwork as well to dominate even harder.

From the Russian standpoint if probably didn't look like it. It was a strategical victory but a tactical loss

The Russians won with sheer numbers and quantity, the Germans actually suffered considerably fewer casualties in Stalingrad. So there is some truth to the fact that if you played allies, you still would be "stomped" despite the overall allied victory.

The Winter is the main reason the Germans lost. And the stubbornness of the German High Command.

Just saying. The non-German battalions got annihilated by the Red Army because they were poorly trained and ill equipped to deal with the conditions and T-34's. Hell, the Germans lost Stalingrad because they got surrounded after their flanks (manned by non-German soldiers) got destroyed.

Does that mean that the battles shouldn't be added in? It would a great addition to the game.

You want maps added where one side is hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned on every map?

Pray tell who would want to play on the Axis team?

They would have no effective means of stopping T-34's, of which the Russians would have many per map (to maintain historical realism). If the current imbalances are done in the name of realism, these battles would be a rout the instant they started.

I know for sure they'll be A pacific mod, Vietnam mod, WWI, and I've been hearing rumors about an American Civil War mod, not sure about Italians, Hungarians, or Romanians.
