Being the 17th of August already, we really haven't seen a lot of media come to light. I know you guys are hard at work getting the game ready, but SOMETHING would be nice. Please?

I like to come to threads before they are locked.
TWI is a great developer, don't get me wrong. There was a 'media blitz' promised, hasn't happened. There was a release date set, delayed (TWICE, once back in spring if you don't remember). Some 'Heat' may not be a bad thing. I'm not asking for beta date, cause I could care less, I'm asking for anything. A post, pics, video, SOMETHING. There hasn't been ONE video showing in game multiplayer footage using actual players, only bots. NOT to mention NONE of them have good audio. I understand the press doesn't bring along the proper equipment to record a PC video, but I'm sure they have something in house they can put out.
I know it takes time to do things, but it doesn't take THAT much time, I can easily put together a 15 min WELL recorded demo in less than an hour, and I'm amature, these guys are professional.

It is not about the fact that people would necessary be impatient, but most of us simply do not want to buy a game just based on few gameplay videos from 2010 and cinematic trailers. Gameplay footage is what we are waiting for.
If its anything this game has given you then it is info, don't act like you don't know what you get.
I just don't see why there hasn't been any video's of actual MP gameplay with something besides bots that stand right next to you and miss what they shoot at, half of the time, and isn't recorded with a hand held camera. FRAPS anyone?

I have to admit Srinidhalaya is right... i mean i really appreciate TWs work, but they are really bad at marketing. You don't need millions of dollars, nowadays you need some videos, some remarkable information and the community will spread it themselves...
The game releases next month and there is still no MP footage or any HD footage beyond the stuff from last year. I guess it is too hard to press F9 and record a match then upload it to Youtube then send it to RPS.... Don't even start with the "but it's a beta" crap because most games record their videos while the game is in Alpha or early Beta and still pump out quality gameplay videos. Even if you are scared people will find a bug in the trailer then you just put a disclaimer like DICE did.

You're not, I think people are too blinded by they're love of TWI too see that in some cases they have dropped the ball. The lack of any real beta info has annoyed me beyond words and the fact that they still haven't really given us any HD gameplay isn't really doing much to draw in the new customers who may still be on the fence. I'm sure I'll forget all about it once I do get to play it and see how awesome the game is haha
