Is this a late April Fool's joke? I'm not sure it's a good idea to replace the historic setting with ...this.

i like this, we've had huge amounts of historical city building games but this is the only one with TEH FUTAR

I'm unsure about it.
I'm not sure how you could get the whole Anno thing going in the future, it just seems to lack something in setting.
It's really weird to have a game set in the future after 1602, 1503, 1701 and 1404 :p

Unrealistic. There will be no curvy rivers in newly built urban areas (and they have to be newly built or they would still have old buildings in them too) in the future.

From the screenshots it looks more like a future mod for an actual Anno game. Look at the docks, for example, if you squint so you don't see the futuristic angle anymore it looks like regular old docks from some old Anno game. Not at all how I envision modern, post-modern or outright futuristic docks.and I wonder what the point in this would be? You usually switch to another era because things work differently there, not because you can use different models for buildings and units. Unless it's Call of Battlehonor, I guess.

Ah, whatever. I've never been big on Anno anyway.
