It is honestly insulting how broken this game is that we paid for. There are good games and bad games, I've played plenty. However, this game is entirely different. It is broken. Even most boring games at the very least function. This is far from the case in RO2. Punkbuster still kicks my friends and I out of games constantly, the server browser is terrible on a good day, and the "balance" decisions made would be laughable if I hadn't flushed $35 down the toilet. Why bother advertising realism if you're just going to plaque the game with weapons you yourselves know were not there? For your next project I highly recommend keeping your word. Say that rare weapons will be rare? Make them rare. What about "Hero" status? Everyone saw how this game was released and said, "Well at least TW is always working to patch it." Is this what you really want your supporters to have to say Tripwire? I notice how most did not say, "Wow this game is great!" It was more along the lines of, "It should be functional here soon." Two months later, the game is still unplayable not only because of the glitches and poor decisions, but because we were all fed up and left the game. Don't deny it. 9,000 players on day one to 750 at best. The game is dead. Don't blame it on Battlefield 3. Don't blame it on Modern Warfare 3. Don't make excuses like "BF3 has a bunch of glitches too!" Just accept that the game flopped because of poor quality and poor decision making. Better luck next time Tripwire, listen to your fans and don't spit in their faces with a broken product.
P.S. Good luck to the mod community. Mods are the only thing that can save this game now.:IS2:
