Why bother? You can just speak American everywhere and people should understand you. If they don't, then they are prolly from some stupid third world country and not worth speaking to anyway.

If you do decide to buy a program, I recommend Rosetta Stone.

I use it for learning Russian, in combination to my girlfriend throwing me more vocabulary and making me translate sentences...

Looking forward to meeting girlfriend's Dad in Russia one day... I have a feeling he will get me very very very drunk.
