damnit, got my hopes up :( Man when will we ever get our beloved crossfire support.. I want to have EVERY setting on ultra not just some.

amd is not going to put out a CAP for this game until tripwire has patched and properly optimized the game on their end first. creating a CAP to get crossfire and ati cards working properly with the state of the current build is pointless.

Why is it pointless?

The state of the game is a total different issue than non-functioning crossfire?

Yes, Yoshiro confirmed the problem is at their end. The game is CPU bound and that causes issues with Crossfire, I just hope they will sort these out

Thats not how I read it.

I read that out CPU are too weak for the game to take advantage of 2 gpu's.

Even if mine is only taxed 40% at max. (i5 2500k)


I hope very much that your interpretation is right, though. xD

Take a look at a thread in the steam forums.

With this I could get quite a boost for my Crossfire Eyefinity setup. :) *dances joyfully around*
Without it there was no increase, so I had Crossfire disabled.

This is surely just a temporary remedy for me but better than none.
Maybe it will work for some of you guys.

I'm just wondering is the performance with that better than with just having Crossfire disabled?

I don;t see a lot f difference.

Maybe the dibs are slightly 'less' low.

It does crash on occasion now.
